FAW Fudi, a joint venture between FAW Group and BYD, has officially started production at the first phase of its new energy power battery project in Changchun, Jilin Province. The plant covers 370,000 square meters with a total floor area of 340,000 square meters. It is scheduled to be built in three phases, aiming for a total annual capacity of 45 GWh, with the first phase targeting 15 GWh. The facility utilizes BYD's blade battery technology and a module-free high-integration design to address safety, range, and longevity challenges.
