What Happened
Bentley Motors today reports a seventh consecutive year of profitability, demonstrating resilient underlying performance amid a challenging global market environment. Customer deliveries declined by five per cent, but higher-margin derivatives and bespoke personalization helped limit revenue decline to just one per cent, resulting in revenue of €2.6 billion. Reported operating profit of €216 million was affected by external factors including U.S. tariff impacts and a decision to discontinue a D-segment platform.
“We are investing at unprecedented levels in the Pyms Lane site, including the Design Centre, opened in July last year, the near completion of the A1 building for BEV production, and the upcoming opening of the new Paint Shop later this year. At the same time, we are making some difficult decisions to ensure the long-term competitiveness of the business, including an organisational adjustment poten”
Bentley continues to transform its historic Pyms Lane site in Crewe for electrification. The Design Centre opened in July 2025, consolidating design and innovation capabilities. Work is progressing on the A1 building, which will house the future BEV assembly line, and a new Paint Shop with nearly 100 individual paint colours is set to open later this year.
Why this matters
The result shows Bentley's resilience in a challenging market and its self-funded investment in electrification, securing the brand's future in the luxury segment.
