What Happened
The 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans takes place this weekend at the Circuit de La Sarthe, with Ferrari fielding two 499P hypercars from the official AF Corse team after three straight wins. Drivers and team leaders expressed cautious optimism during pre-race comments, noting that the level of competition has risen significantly and that a fourth consecutive victory will be extremely difficult.
“As always, we focus on ourselves: we approach the race with determination, knowing that Le Mans is a special challenge where it is essential not to make any mistakes. It will be a very tough race, but we will do our very best until the end and then we will see what the result will be.”
“As in previous years, and even more so in this edition, the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be an extremely tough challenge in which more than one Manufacturer can aspire to victory. We would like to be among them, but we know it will be a very complicated race.”
