Five German Golfers Set to Play in BMW International Open 2026

What Happened
The BMW International Open will feature five German professionals: Freddy Schott, Nicolai von Dellingshausen, Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, and Max Kieffer. The tournament runs from 1 to 5 July at Golfclub München Eichenried. Schott, 25, celebrated his first DP World Tour victory this year at the Bahrain Championship by defeating Patrick Reed in a playoff.
Marcel Siem, 45, grew up at the course and has not yet won his home tournament. Martin Kaymer, the youngest winner in 2008 at age 23, will also participate. Matti Schmid, who finished tied fourth at the PGA Championship, is also returning to Munich.
