What Happened

Gatik announced $200 million in Series D financing led by Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) and Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT), with participation from Millennium Management, ARK Invest, Intact Private Capital and others. The company is raising as demand accelerates for driverless commercial freight across Fortune 50 retail, grocery and CPG supply chains. Gatik reports more than $600 million in contracted revenue, 85,000 fully driverless orders completed, and 99% on-time delivery across its operations.

“This round, led by some of the world’s leading financial institutions, is a clear validation of Gatik’s commercial leadership in autonomous freight. We have built Gatik with real revenue, deep customer demand, and AI-driven autonomous technology proven every day in live supply chains. This round gives us the capital to scale with speed and discipline, serve the world’s largest companies, and defi

Gatik’s trucks move goods on high-frequency regional routes between distribution centers and stores, giving customers a reliable way to add capacity, improve service levels and keep products moving. Its AI-first AV technology is purpose-built for autonomous trucking across highways and surface streets, using dynamic routes to respond to changing demand, distribution center activity, and pickup and drop-off needs. Gatik says it is powered by the Gatik Driver, a scalable, interpretable AI system, and maintains a strong safety record across its operations. With dozens of driverless trucks operating today across North America, the company plans to expand to thousands in the years ahead. Gatik currently operates in Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, and Canada.

“Autonomous freight is transforming the global logistics industry, making it more efficient and reliable. QIA is committed to supporting next-generation solutions providers like Gatik that are shaping the future of freight infrastructure.”
Abdulla Al-Kuwari, Head of Industrials at QIA

Other investors also voiced support. Byron Knight, President of Koch Disruptive Technologies, said autonomy is moving beyond a promising technology into real-world commercial operations. Cathie Wood, Founder, CEO and CIO of ARK Invest, called autonomous freight an inflection point, and Tasha Keeney, Director of Research for Autonomous Technology and Robotics at ARK Invest, added that autonomous trucking should lower transport costs and reshape supply chains. Justin Smith-Lorenzetti, Managing Director of Intact Private Capital, said the firm has tripled its commitment. Celeste Dauner, Managing Director of Koch Disruptive Technologies, noted that KDT first invested in Gatik in 2021 and chose to invest again.

Previously from Gatik AI Inc.

Gatik previously announced contracts totaling $600 million and became the first US company to operate fully driverless trucks at scale, completing 60,000 orders without incident. It also announced a multi-year autonomous freight deployment with PepsiCo and joined NVIDIA Halos Lab to help scale driverless freight.

Why this matters

Autonomous trucking is maturing from pilot projects into real, paid commercial operations. Gatik already has more than $600 million in contracted revenue and a 99% on-time delivery record, and this funding will help it expand from dozens of driverless trucks today to thousands across North America. That expansion could make retail, grocery and consumer-goods supply chains faster and more predictable, helping keep shelves stocked.
