What Happened
Peter Hickman made a strong return to the Isle of Man TT after missing the 2025 race due to a serious injury. He secured second place in both the Superbike TT and the Senior TT aboard the BMW M 1000 RR, proving he remains a top contender.
Adverse weather conditions forced the cancellation of the two Superstock races. The Senior TT was red-flagged after a serious accident and later declared final based on first-lap standings, with Hickman again finishing second behind Dean Harrison.

“It’s been a really unusual race week, but overall for me, including two podiums in two races with the BMW M 1000 RR, I couldn’t have asked for much more than that. It was more than I ever expected. Obviously I’m still not 100% yet, as we all know, but I’m really, really happy with how the two weeks have gone.”
Why this matters
Hickman's comeback underscores his resilience and BMW Motorrad's competitive edge in road racing, while a limited edition M 1000 RR celebrates the event's 115th running.
