What Happened
Kia celebrated multiple victories in Israel's Car of the Year 2026 awards, organized by Auto Magazine. The Kia Sportage won the Compact SUV category, the Carnival won the MPV category, and the EV3 was named Electric Car of the Year and overall Car of the Year. This is Kia's third overall win in four years, following the EV6 in 2023 and EV9 in 2025.
“The Kia EV3 is a crossover SUV that delivers more important qualities that cannot be measured by a dry specification sheet — the ride quality is significantly better, the ergonomics are quite successful, the seats are very comfortable, and all of this is complemented by an excellent real world driving range.”
