Maruti Suzuki says the Fronx has reached 200,000 exports in less than 38 months, the quickest such SUV milestone from India according to SIAM data.

- About 25 months
What Happened
Maruti Suzuki began shipping the Fronx abroad in June 2023. The model reached 100,000 exports in roughly 25 months and then added another 100,000 in about 13 months, taking the total to 200,000 before the end of its fourth year.
Under 38 months
SIAM data cited by the company makes the Fronx the fastest Indian SUV to reach the mark.
The Hansalpur plant in Gujarat builds the SUV for overseas markets, with shipments reaching nearly 90 countries. Maruti Suzuki says the Fronx has been India's leading exported passenger vehicle since FY2024-25.
The milestone sits inside a broader export push. Maruti Suzuki shipped 395,000 passenger vehicles in calendar 2025, exported 17 models to almost 120 countries and held the top exporter position for a fifth consecutive year, according to the company and SIAM figures.
Why this matters
The pace makes the Fronx an important proof point for Maruti Suzuki's export-led use of its Indian factories. It also shows how quickly the model's second 100,000-unit block accumulated compared with its first.
