Mercedes-Benz has presented an extended-wheelbase edition of its midsize luxury SUV in Chengdu, adding 120 millimetres of distance between axles to expand rear cabin dimensions.

What Happened
Assembled locally for Chinese customers, the GLE L extends overall axle spacing by 120 mm beyond standard dimensions. Rear cabin appointments include dedicated infotainment screens, regional voice software, and a front passenger seat able to incline 10.91 degrees forward to expand rear legroom.
