Nissan's NMC to launch Kicks ROCK CREEK special edition in Japan on December 23

Nissan Motorsports & Customizing Co., Ltd. (NMC) announced the Kicks ROCK CREEK, a custom model based on the Nissan Kicks, will go on sale nationwide in Japan through Nissan dealers on December 23. The model features exclusive exterior and interior styling to give it a more distinctive, outdoor-inspired character. It follows the well-received X-Trail ROCK CREEK as NMC expands the ROCK CREEK lineup to the Kicks.

The exterior is predominantly black, highlighted by a ROCK CREEK-exclusive front grille with three-slot silver accents, an exclusive front protector with Lava Red accents inspired by molten lava, and exclusive aluminum-alloy wheels. Other touches include a front gloss-black bumper, front under protector, rear bumper in Dark Metal Gray finish, matte-black side sill molding, black door handles, black roof rails, and brand logo and ROCK CREEK emblems. Exclusive 17-inch aluminum wheels feature Lava Red accents and rock-mark embossing.

Inside, the predominantly black cabin features water-repellent seat material suited for outdoor activities. Lava Red accents are applied throughout the interior, including the seats, door trim, instrument panel and steering wheel. The steering wheel is wrapped in Tailor Fit with a Lava Red accent and a black-and-Lava Red brand logo emblem.

The Kicks ROCK CREEK is available in 2WD and 4WD (e-4ORCE) configurations, with the HR14DDe (YM52) engine/motor on 2WD models and the HR14DDe (YM52-MM48) on e-4ORCE models. It is based on the X, X+, X e-4ORCE, and X+ e-4ORCE grades. Utility Spec grades add the NissanConnect Infotainment System [Simple], a power driver's seat, remote-controlled automatic back door and black roof rails. Advanced safety technologies include the Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection and 3D View, the Intelligent Rear View Mirror, Intelligent BSI and BSW, RCTA, and a front/rear drive recorder.
