What Happened
Porsche development driver Lars Kern piloted the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package and the new Manthey Kit to a 6:55.533 minute lap around the 20.832 km Nürburgring Nordschleife. The time beats the previous electric executive car record by more than nine seconds and is 12 seconds faster than Kern's own 2023 record in a Taycan Turbo GT without the kit. A notary certified the lap time.
