What Happened

Renault Group is bringing its Renault, Dacia and Alpine brands together at the 2026 Paris Motor Show with 50 vehicles, concept cars and demonstrators, including six world premieres. The show comes just months after the group presented futuREady, its strategic plan, and offers a chance to see how that roadmap is already taking shape in the products and technologies of the three brands. Renault Group says the three brands play complementary roles in its product offensive, under priorities that include enhancing the appeal of its products, continuing to drive electrification, developing strategic technologies in electric mobility and software, and continually raising the bar for quality and customer experience.

What Renault Group is showing in Paris
  • Renault E-Space Concept: a fully electric, modular concept designed around its occupants that reinterprets the spirit of the original Espace, launched in 1984, for the electric age
  • Renault 8 Gordini Concept, Renault 5 Turbo 3E, New Mégane E-Tech electric and Trafic Van E-Tech electric, showcasing technologies from LFP (lithium iron phosphate) batteries to Gemini, Google's AI-powered assistant, and new software architectures
  • Dacia New Spring: completely redesigned and now manufactured in Europe
  • Dacia Striker: following in Bigster's footsteps, continuing Dacia's expansion into the C-segment
  • Alpine A110 Sculpture: offering a glimpse of the design of the third-generation A110, which will be built on the new Alpine Performance Platform
  • Alpine A310 VISION: a concept car on the same platform that reimagines the A310, launched in 1971

Dacia is pursuing two complementary goals: broadening its electric vehicle line-up and strengthening its presence in the C-segment, which it calls a strategic market for its growth. Alpine is already preparing its next generation of vehicles, with both concepts based on the Alpine Performance Platform. Renault says the three brands cater to different customers with different expectations, and that this complementarity lets the group push forward its product offensive, electrification and technology development at the same time.

“A310 VISION is a concept car showcasing the potential of our platform APP. The platform is extremely modular and is being developed to receive different bodystyles and powertrains. This concept shows also our designers and engineers are working closely together, allowing the maximum expression of their creativity.”

Previously from Renault

MotorClaw has previously covered Renault's series revisiting six decades of the Paris Motor Show, which traced how the event moved to Porte de Versailles in 1962 and became the stage for the R5, the Espace, the Twingo and today's electric icons. We also reported on Renault's UK launch of the revised Mégane E-Tech, which introduced a 67kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery, extended the model's range to 306 miles and lowered the base price to £28,245. Both the Mégane E-Tech and LFP batteries feature in the group's 2026 Paris line-up.

Why this matters

Renault Group says the models shown preview what Renault, Dacia and Alpine buyers in Europe can expect, as it turns its futuREady strategy into products. It is betting on electrification and on Dacia's affordable line-up while European customers face growing pressure on purchasing power. The group repeats its stated ambition: to become the European automotive reference with global reach.
