What Happened
VOYAH introduced Huju P, a new flagship chassis system, on September 15 at Dongfeng Motor Group Technology Week. In the name, P stands for Premium, and the brand describes the hardware as a flagship-level intelligent chassis. It will reach production first on the Dreamer 9, a new flagship MPV that goes on sale September 22.

Sales begin for the Dreamer 9 MPV, the first vehicle to use the chassis.
The chassis pairs rear-wheel steering, which swings up to 10 degrees in either direction, with electric power steering that has dual-motor redundancy built in. An 800-volt electrical architecture feeds twin motors whose combined output peaks at 560 kW. A preview system looks 15 meters down the road and re-solves the surface 100 times each second. VOYAH says the rear-axle steering shaves a meter off the turning circle, leaving a minimum radius of 5.9 meters.
5.9meters
Rear-axle steering that moves up to 10 degrees either way cuts the turning circle by one meter, VOYAH says.
Why this matters
Huju P sits at the top of VOYAH's range, and the Dreamer 9 is the first model that will carry it. Buyers shopping flagship MPVs can order the vehicle from September 22, when sales begin. The system also shows where Dongfeng is directing engineering work for its high-end electric brand.
