2027 Z650RS reaches India with Kawasaki’s familiar neo-retro package
Kawasaki has introduced the new model-year Z650RS at Rs 7.83 lakh, carrying the existing engine and chassis package into 2027.

What Happened
Kawasaki’s newest model-year Z650RS carries an Indian ex-showroom tag of Rs 7.83 lakh. The 649cc twin continues to deliver 68hp and 64Nm, while the motorcycle keeps its current frame, suspension, braking hardware and traction control.
Kawasaki has also carried over the 192kg kerb weight, 800mm seat height and 12-litre fuel tank. There are no mechanical changes and the price remains at the level of the outgoing model.
Why this matters
The flat price and unchanged specification give Kawasaki a continuity play in the middleweight neo-retro segment rather than a major product refresh.
