What Happened
BMW Group Plant Landshut has begun pre-series production of the 'Energy Master' control unit for the hydrogen drivetrain in the BMW iX5 Hydrogen. The plant also commissioned a second production line for the battery-electric version used in the Neue Klasse models, doubling capacity. The Energy Master controls energy and data flows, serving as a key interface between the fuel cell system, high-voltage battery, and electric drive.
