Bugatti Reveals 'Caroline' W16 Mistral: A Bespoke Family Tribute
What Happened
Bugatti has unveiled the W16 Mistral 'Caroline', a bespoke open-top hypercar created through its Sur Mesure personalization program. The car pays intimate homage to the owner's daughter, combining the final W16 engine with a floral-inspired design influenced by haute couture and Provence lavender fields.
The exterior is finished in a custom 'Lavender' color that shifts between blue and red tones under light, with a 'Violet Carbon' carbon fiber lower section. The rear spoiler features hand-painted floral layers in lilac and iris tones, with the name 'Caroline' signed at its center.
Inside, the cabin blends white and midnight blue leather with violet accents and carbon fiber. Intricate embroidery decorates the headrests and door panels with dynamic petal patterns, while the gear lever houses Rembrandt Bugatti's 'Dancing Elephant' sculpture in tinted glass.
