What Happened
Dodge and Stellantis parts arm Mopar announced the Mopar '27 equipment package on October 27, 2026, marking 90 years since the Mopar trademark was established in 1937.
The $10,995 package is offered strictly on two-door coupe versions of the new Charger equipped with the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six Hurricane engine. Customers can pair the kit with either the 420-horsepower R/T trim or the higher-output 550-horsepower Scat Pack Plus.
- 270 units (243 United States, 27 Canada)
- $10,995 above base vehicle MSRP
- 3.0L twin-turbo I6 (420 hp R/T or 550 hp Scat Pack Plus)
Hardware updates include Direct Connection carbon-fibre body components, adding a chin splitter, a rear spoiler, and a functional dual-inlet hood scoop. Engine breathing is supported by a high-flow cold-air intake kit.
Paint selections divide the run into batches of 90, finished in Bludicrous, White Knuckle, or Diamond Black shades, paired with Mopar Blue striping and darkened alloy wheels. Cabin changes add blue stitching, a blue starter button, and an individualized instrument panel badge.
Dealerships can place orders starting January 2027, ahead of scheduled manufacturing at the Windsor plant in Ontario during spring 2027.
Why this matters
The special edition provides early factory accessories for Dodge's combustion-powered Hurricane six-cylinder Charger coupes before series production begins in Ontario next spring. By limiting output to 270 numbered units and pricing the carbon-fiber additions at $10,995, Stellantis is testing consumer appetite for high-margin personalization on its new muscle car architecture.
