What Happened
Daimler Truck, MB Energy, and Kawasaki Heavy Industries have signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to study and build an economically viable liquefied hydrogen supply chain to the Port of Hamburg. The partners bring complementary expertise: Daimler Truck provides hydrogen truck development, MB Energy contributes fuel sourcing and infrastructure, and Kawasaki offers hydrogen storage and shipping technologies. The agreement expands on a previous Japan-Germany hydrogen supply chain MoU.
