Sixty years after helping define the muscle car era, the Dodge Charger returns to Europe with an eighth-generation lineup engineered on the STLA Large multi-energy platform. The European range pairs the all-electric Dodge Charger Daytona with the SIXPACK-powered Dodge Charger, each offered in R/T and Scat Pack form. The cars reach customers through the official importer KWA, which operates more than 200 authorized RAM and Dodge retail locations across 20 main European countries. On September 15, the European Media Drive brought journalists to the Balocco Proving Ground in Italy, a facility selected for its dedicated track environments and established road-driving routes. The program began with a press conference and technical briefing on the next-generation Charger and its multi-energy architecture before journalists drove both the all-electric Daytona and the SIXPACK-powered Charger. Activities took place across multiple areas of the proving ground and included public-road driving routes, pace-car sessions and track exercises designed to show vehicle dynamics, capability and driver confidence rather than straight-line figures alone. The photographic and film project New Dodge Charger: unlock the thrill, developed in collaboration with Publicis Groupe, builds on the Balocco drive by presenting Daytona and SIXPACK as two expressions of the same unmistakable spirit. It comprises seven short-form films supported by a dedicated series of product-focused images for Dodge's editorial and social channels, moving between atmospheric reveals, exterior and interior details, driver-focused perspectives and dynamic track sequences. The opening film brings both cars together in a dark, cinematic environment where details progressively emerge through reflections, dynamic lighting and illuminated signatures before the two cars are fully revealed. The editorial plan will then continue through individual stories dedicated to design, interiors and the distinctive character of each model.
