FAW-Volkswagen has introduced pre-sale orders for its ID. AURA T6, an electric mid-size sport utility vehicle offered across four variants ranging from 135,900 yuan ($20,040) to 169,900 yuan. The baseline 540 Pro and 660 Pro carry pre-sale stickers of 135,900 yuan and 149,900 yuan, whereas the top-tier 660 Max and 660 Ultra list at 159,900 yuan and 169,900 yuan. Spanning 4,811 mm in length with a 2,836 mm wheelbase, the five-seater is driven by a 170 kW motor and provides 59.9 kWh and 77.5 kWh battery options yielding CLTC ranges of 540 km and 660 km.
The SUV utilizes the China Electronic Architecture (CEA) co-created with Xpeng, employing central computing and zonal controllers to support over-the-air software updates, Sentry Mode, and onboard AI model execution. Furthermore, the 660 Max and Ultra grades incorporate 192-channel LiDAR paired with Horizon Robotics' Journey 6H silicon delivering 420 TOPS of processing power, enabling highway and urban navigation on autopilot as well as multi-level memory parking.
