Ford details 2026 Mustang updates with new colors, packages, and standard tech

What Happened
Ford announced a series of updates for the 2026 Mustang, covering exterior styling, interior options, technology, safety, and performance. New exterior colors include Adriatic Blue Metallic and Orange Fury Metallic Tri-coat. The convertible model now includes a spoiler delete, and the standard 18-inch wheels feature a Shadow Silver-painted finish. Interior updates include optional seatbelt colors and black foot pedals on certain trims.

- Bronze Appearance Package now available on EcoBoost and GT trims
- Ford Connectivity Package standard on all series (1 year included)
- Anti-Theft Package (formerly Security Package) standard on Dark Horse 700A
Performance updates include making the 10-speed automatic transmission standard on the Mustang Dark Horse, with the 6-speed manual as an option. The perimeter alarm is now standard on 201A and 401A trims, and a magnesium framed curved display is optional on 200A/400A. Additionally, the Ford app remote start is now standard on EcoBoost Premium, and the Security Package has been renamed the Anti-Theft Package.
