Opel has launched a new GSE ambassador campaign built around the Mokka GSE, fronted by racing driver Sophia Flörsch under the tagline 'From rally to road'. Flörsch is a test and development driver for the Opel GSE Formula E Team, drives the Opel GSE 27FE GEN4 racing car, has tested the Mokka GSE Rally and drives a Mokka GSE in her spare time. The campaign traces the racing roots of the Mokka GSE, which is closely related to its rally counterpart, the Mokka GSE Rally, competing in the ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup. At Opel, GSE stands for 'Grand Sport Electric', and the 'Golden Steering Wheel 2025' winner is sharper and more emotional than its Mokka siblings, with GSE-specific inserts inspired by the rally vehicle on the front apron and at the rear. Safe contact with the road comes from a wheel-tyre combination developed specially for the model: aerodynamically optimised 20-inch alloy wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport EV 225/40 R20 tyres. Yellow and black GSE lettering on the front and sides makes clear that it is an all-electric vehicle.
