The Corsa GSE brings the motorsport work of the engineers in Rüsselsheim and the Opel Motorsport team into series production, with 207 kW (281 hp) and 345 Newton metres of torque taking it from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds — faster than any other current production Opel. Its combined WLTP figures are 16.0-17.0 kWh/100 km energy consumption and 0 g/km CO2 emissions, with a CO2 label of A. The GEN4 cars used in Formula E, meanwhile, have permanent all-wheel drive, more than 800 hp and recuperation of up to 700 kW, which Opel says will take electric motorsport to a completely new level.
