What Happened
Stellantis and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles commemorated the 20-year anniversary of their 50:50 joint venture, Fiat India Automobiles Private Limited (FIAPL), by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore further collaboration across manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain in India and overseas. FIAPL currently produces 4 Jeep models and 3 Tata Motors passenger vehicles at its plant in Pune, India, and exports vehicles to markets including Japan and South Africa.
