Tata Motors has signed an MoU with the Government of Maharashtra to restore 1,500 additional water bodies across 25 districts. This expansion builds on a program that has already restored over 1,450 water bodies since 2023, adding more than 3,000 crore litres of water storage capacity and benefiting nearly 7 lakh people. The public-private-community model has improved water availability, groundwater recharge, and irrigation access in water-stressed regions.
