Tata Power and TATA.ev hubs log 70,000 sessions, with 10,000 public points targeted by 2030

What Happened
Tata Passenger Electric Mobility and Tata Power say their 10 jointly branded charging hubs have now logged more than 70,000 plug-in sessions. Those stops delivered over 85,000 hours of charging, while EV travel supported by the sites exceeded 75 lakh kilometres, according to the two companies. They sit across four states: Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The wider network, the partners say, is far larger than the hubs themselves.

The programme began at one site bearing both companies' names, which Tata Power describes as a first for the country. It opened on September 9, 2025, World EV Day, at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, beside Terminal 2. That location has eight fast DC chargers rated up to 120 kW and 16 bays, so several cars can plug in at once. According to Tata Power, it relies wholly on renewable energy and was built as a model for the hubs that followed.
