Under the conditional agreements disclosed to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, external institutional investors led by IDG Capital alongside Gaorong Ventures, Tencent, and Alibaba will contribute $600 million. The newly independent unit plans to ramp up volume assembly of the Iron bipedal robot by late 2026, targeting a monthly build pace exceeding 1,000 units. Automotive manufacturing, winged aerial mobility, robotaxi operations, and proprietary computing silicon remain housed directly within Xpeng core structure.
