What Happened
Caterham has launched the Seven Nürburgring Edition, limited to 100 units worldwide, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Nürburgring circuit. The model is available based on either the Seven 420R or Seven 340R depending on market, with prices starting at £48,995 in the UK.
The Nürburgring Edition features a bespoke race suspension developed by Bilstein using its advanced vertical dynamics test rig, tuned specifically for the demands of the Nürburgring. It is powered by a 2.0-liter Ford Duratec engine producing 210 bhp, achieving 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 136 mph.
Visual upgrades include Nürburgring-branded paint options (Verkehrsrot, Achatgrau, Basaltgrau), a red track day roll bar, unique mesh grille, carbon aero whiskers, Gunmetal Grey chassis, carbon front wings, Black Pack, composite aero screen, and LED rear lights. Inside, leather seats feature Nürburgring embroidery and red stitching, along with carbon interior panels, four-point harnesses, and sequential shift lights. Each car has an individually numbered plaque.
