What Happened
Changan Automobile showcased electric vehicles across its three core brands—AVATR, CHANGAN DEEPAL, and CHANGAN NEVO—at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show. The highlight was the official debut of the CHANGAN NEVO Q05, an intelligent electric SUV that embodies the company's 'Tech CHANGAN, Trusted Choice' vision.
“Today marks the first introduction of CHANGAN NEVO Q05 in Thailand at the Bangkok International Motor Show. Since entering the Thai market in November 2023, this is our third participation in this prestigious event. We sincerely thank our partners and customers for their continued trust and support. CHANGAN remains committed to long-term investment in Thailand to help drive the automotive industry”
Changan has invested over THB 10 billion in its Rayong factory, its first overseas integrated NEV production base. Production of the DEEPAL S05 has already begun, and preparations are underway for the CHANGAN NEVO Q05. The facility operates under the concept 'Made in Thailand, Sold Globally,' serving both domestic and international markets.
Mr. Chris Wu, Vice President of Changan Auto Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., emphasized the importance of the Thai market, noting that Changan is not just launching another vehicle but redefining mobility as a safe, smart, and comfortable 'mobile living space.'
Why this matters
The launch strengthens Changan's presence in Thailand's fast-growing EV market and underscores the company's long-term investment in the country as a regional production hub, with its Rayong factory serving both local and international markets.
