Changan Opens Qiyuan Q06 Pre-Orders in China From 149,900 Yuan

The midsize crossover is built on an 800-volt silicon carbide electrical architecture supporting 6C DC fast charging. According to the carmaker, replenishing the battery from 30 percent to 80 percent takes nine minutes at compatible stations. Pure electric models utilize lithium iron phosphate packs supplied by CALB and CATL across four energy capacities: 63.18 kWh, 66.02 kWh, 72.54 kWh, and 80.02 kWh, delivering a maximum electric driving range of 700 km.

Customers can select between battery-electric and extended-range electric powertrains. The range-extended edition achieves an aggregate cruising capability reaching 1,600 km. Battery-electric variants offer single-motor configurations rated at 225 kW (302 hp) and 245 kW (329 hp), alongside a twin-motor rear-drive edition providing 330 kW (443 hp) that hits 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.

Every trim level incorporates roof-mounted lidar hardware linked to Changan's newly unveiled SDA Pilot driving architecture. Processing options scale from a 100 TOPS base tier up to a 1,000 TOPS flagship specification, with high-end grades adding vision-language AI models to evaluate driving conditions.

Dimensionally, the vehicle spans 4,837 mm in length across a 2,940 mm wheelbase. Cabin equipment highlights include twin TC399 processors powering the SDA Cockpit interface, an onboard cooler, a 196-liter front storage bay, and 782 liters of rear luggage space. Changan reported August deliveries of 45,885 vehicles for its Nevo sub-brand, representing a 60.6 percent expansion over year-ago volumes.
