What Happened
At IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, running from 14 to 20 September, Fiat Professional is putting the spotlight on three pillars of its strategy. The brand is opening up a new dimension of urban commercial mobility with TRIS, making professional transport increasingly accessible with the new Doblò EasyPRO, and building on the strength of the Ducato and its positive commercial momentum. The new models arrive at a moment of growth for the brand, which reported a 5% rise in registrations in the first eight months of 2026.

The new Doblò EasyPRO is pitched as a straightforward, robust and accessible tool for everyday work. It is available in two lengths with a payload capacity from 650 kg up to 1 tonne and a load volume of up to 4.4 m³. Its redesigned front end emphasises protection and durability, while the cabin has been developed around functionality and ergonomics. Solutions include Flexiseat, which lets the passenger seat fold down to increase carrying flexibility, and the optional ModuTable, which turns part of the cabin into a mobile workspace. A broad powertrain offer spans a fully electric version, internal-combustion engines and a future mild-hybrid option.

At the heart of that performance is the Ducato, the flagship of the Fiat Professional range, which celebrates its 45th anniversary this year. Since its launch in 1981, more than 3.5 million Ducato vehicles have been produced, making the model one of the most recognisable names in the European light commercial vehicle market. In Hannover, the Ducato also showcases the Fiat Professional CustomFit programme, which lets customers configure and convert their vehicle according to specific professional requirements through a network of qualified partners. Its offer includes the fully electric E-Ducato, with a range of up to 424 km WLTP.
The Ducato is launched; more than 3.5 million units have been produced since.

Why this matters
Fiat Professional is betting that compact electric commercial vehicles can serve dense city centres where conventional vans struggle, giving small businesses and last-mile delivery operators a smaller option. Its 5% registration growth in the first eight months of 2026 shows it is also defending its position in Europe's light commercial vehicle market, where buyers can now choose electric, combustion or a future mild-hybrid powertrain.
