What Happened
The Bronco Invitational, brainchild of Vaughn Gittin Jr. and RTR Vehicles, is a golf tournament set in the Johnson Valley Desert. No grass, just sand, rocks, and bushes. About 20 participants from pro golf, social media, and motorsport took part in three holes with off-road racing challenges before each hole, with scores adjusted based on race results. Teams included a pro golfer, a racer, and an influencer.
“We got a chance to demonstrate what a Bronco is all about in its natural environment of high-speed desert running and rock crawling while teaching a new owner how to enjoy the Bronco lifestyle.”
“Playing golf in the Bronco Invitational made me feel like a kid again. It brought out the child-like playfulness and competition out of me, which I hadn't felt in such a long time.”
