What Happened
Manufactured through Ford's joint venture with JMC in Jiangxi province, the compact electric delivery vehicle is engineered to meet European homologation standards for crash protection, cybersecurity, and environmental performance. Three body configurations will be offered to fleet buyers, including L1H1 panel van, L2H2 high-roof, and bare chassis-cab formats carrying up to 1,600 kilograms of payload.
Propulsion comes from a front-mounted 110-kilowatt electric motor paired with a 56-kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery, yielding a certified WLTP driving range of 254 kilometers. Rapid DC charging can replenish 50 kilometers of operational range in ten minutes.
Ford projects routine servicing expenditures will decrease roughly 40 percent relative to equivalent diesel vans. High-voltage powertrain components carry eight-year or 160,000-kilometer factory warranty protection.
