What Happened

GAC Group and technology partner Huawei announced the opening of commercial pre-sales for the Aistaland GX7 on September 4, with nationwide customer handoffs slated to commence later in the month. The five-passenger crossover constitutes the brand's sophomore offering after introducing the GT7 shooting brake in June.

The sport utility vehicle utilizes an extended-range electric powertrain built on an 800-volt high-voltage architecture. Electrical energy storage is provided by battery packs sourced from Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL), supporting rapid high-power charging.
