McLaren Golf Launches with Series 1 and Series 3 Irons
$375 USD / £360 GBP
April 30, 2026
North America, Europe, South Korea
What Happened
McLaren Golf, a new venture from McLaren Automotive, officially launched with two iron models: the Series 1 Tour blade and Series 3 distance iron. The clubs utilize Metal Injection Molding (MIM), an advanced manufacturing process rarely used in golf, to precisely control weight distribution and material composition. The irons also feature a McLaren Structural Mesh, a honeycomb-inspired pattern borrowed from the brand's supercars, to reduce mass and increase stability.
“We’ve been working toward this moment for some time and there’s a real sense of anticipation in seeing it all come to life. Behind the scenes, we challenged every part of the process - from materials to construction - to uphold the exacting standards and constant pursuit of excellence that define McLaren.”
- Justin Rose - major champion and Olympic gold medalist, will play Series 1 irons.
- Michelle Wie West - U.S. Women's Open champion, will play Series 1 irons.
- Ian Poulter - Ryder Cup legend and former top-five player, will play Series 1 irons.
Both Series 1 and Series 3 irons are priced at $375 USD / £360 GBP per club in stock configuration. They will be available starting April 30, 2026, in North America, Europe, and South Korea through select custom fitting retailers, and online in North America at mclarengolf.com.
