FinDreams takes BYD’s Blade battery into industrial rail

What Happened
FinDreams Battery and Changsha Fusheng Technology have agreed to work on Blade Battery systems for shunting and on-site transport locomotives. The partners put pen to paper on September 7 at FinDreams’ Shenzhen campus, according to a company announcement reported by CarNewsChina.
The proposed equipment is aimed at railway yards, mines and industrial facilities rather than mainline service. FinDreams is set to provide battery engineering and production know-how, while Changsha Fusheng will integrate the system and adapt it for field use.

Neither partner disclosed a contract value, battery quantity, locomotive specification or start date for commercial operation. BYD has already supplied Blade-equipped heavy vehicles, including 100 T31 electric dump trucks delivered to Shenzhen construction operators in June.
