At IAA Transportation 2026 in September, Mercedes-Benz Trucks will present key next steps in the transformation of road freight transport toward alternative drivetrains. The focus is on the new eActros Lowliner, which expands the battery-electric portfolio for high-volume applications. Additionally, the 'Elektrotrucker' will start an around-the-world journey in an eActros 600, and logistics provider Dachser will become the first customer for the hydrogen NextGenH2 Truck.

With three battery packs and a gross combination weight of 40 tons, the eActros 600 achieves 500 km without intermediate charging.
