What Happened

PEUGEOT has introduced a new ENVY Special Edition for its 208 and 2008 models, available across the full line-up of electric, hybrid and petrol powertrains. Building on the Allure trim level, the special edition adds exclusive styling features and extra equipment. The 208 ENVY and 2008 ENVY are available now, with prices starting from €24,050 and €30,500 respectively.

Exclusive paint colours at no extra cost
  • 208 ENVY: Alvao Green (new), Agueda Yellow, Okenite White, Artense Grey, Selenium Grey, Perla Nera Black
  • 2008 ENVY: Nazare Blue (new), Obsession Blue, Okenite White, Artense Grey, Selenium Grey, Perla Nera Black

The exterior also features a contrasting gloss black roof on the 208 ENVY and gloss black roof bars on the 2008 ENVY. Both models come with diamond-cut two-tone alloy wheels — 16-inch NOMA on the 208 and 17-inch KARAKOY on the 2008 — finished with a Black Mist lacquer that emphasises their geometric design. The ENVY look stands out at first glance thanks to these distinctive details.

Inside, the ENVY edition borrows the dynamic front seats from the higher GT trim, with exclusive tri-material Tremezzo upholstery, Opalite blue-green stitching and a matching PEUGEOT emblem on the headrests. The Opalite signature continues through coordinated stitching on the armrest door panels and a screen-printed motif on a gloss black trim insert. PEUGEOT-branded aluminium front door sills complete the cabin, while the 208 ENVY adds a Black Mistral headliner with LED lighting including front courtesy lamp, rear reading lights and illuminated vanity mirrors.

As standard, both models feature keyless entry and start and a high-definition reversing camera. The 2008 ENVY also has a two-position adjustable boot floor for optimising luggage space. The special edition adds these features to the already well-equipped Allure specification, making everyday use more enjoyable.

Pricing for the ENVY Special Edition is €400 (incl. VAT) more than the corresponding Allure version. The 208 ENVY costs €24,050 with the Turbo 100, €26,950 with the Hybrid 110 AUTO, €27,750 with the Hybrid 145 AUTO, €36,900 with the Electric 136 (46 kWh), and €38,200 with the Electric 156 (51 kWh). The 2008 ENVY costs €30,500 with the Turbo 100, €33,800 with the Hybrid 110 AUTO, €34,600 with the Hybrid 145 AUTO, and €40,700 with the Electric 156 (51 kWh).

Why this matters

The Envy Special Edition adds a more refined look and extra convenience features to Peugeot's two best-selling models for a €400 premium over the Allure trim. It shows how automakers create variety across the same model using the full range of powertrains, from petrol to hybrid to electric. Shoppers comparing the 208 or 2008 now have a more luxurious, well-equipped option.
