SAIC's MG 07 Starts Deliveries After Orders Pass 31,000 in Ten Days
SAIC's MG has started delivering the MG 07 after recording more than 31,000 firm orders in the first ten days following the sedan's launch in China.

What Happened
MG said the MG 07 had passed 31,000 firm orders and had entered customer deliveries in China. The sedan launched on August 21, and the company said its first 10,000 orders arrived in one minute and 57 seconds.
The seven-version range is priced from 108,900 yuan to 159,900 yuan. Buyers can choose battery-electric or plug-in-hybrid powertrains, with the BEV variants using an 800-volt electrical platform and 67-kWh or 91-kWh battery packs.
Depending on specification, the electric MG 07 is rated for 610, 650, or 845 kilometers of CLTC range. Its front motor produces either 176 or 235 kilowatts, while the PHEV uses a 1.5-liter engine and a 152-kilowatt drive motor.
The MG 07 PHEV is listed with a 245-kilometer CLTC electric range and a stated combined range of up to 1,745 kilometers when charged and fueled. The model also offers Momenta-assisted urban and highway navigation on pilot functions on selected trims.
Why this matters
The MG 07 is entering deliveries with both battery-electric and plug-in-hybrid versions, giving SAIC a volume test for a relatively low-priced sedan that combines an 800-volt BEV platform with long-range PHEV capability.
