5,000 m2
3,000 m2
What Happened
The facility, housed in the historic Workshop 7 in Zona Franca, started operations in December 2025. It focuses on dismantling and recovering parts from SEAT and CUPRA vehicles prior to mass production. Vehicles undergo drainage and decontamination, then reusable parts are packaged and stored for sale, while waste is managed on-site.
5,000 m2square meters
Includes 3,000 m2 internal dismantling and warehouse area plus external car handling space.
“This Circular Economy Hub is a clear example of how innovation, industry and sustainability can and must go hand in hand, generating economic, social and environmental value.”
Why this matters
The hub helps reduce environmental impact by reusing vehicle parts instead of sourcing new raw materials, and it reinforces Barcelona's role in sustainable automotive innovation.
