What Happened
Jose ‘Pablo’ Bossi emigrated from Uruguay to the United States in 1987 at age 16 with limited resources. After working in construction and tire retreading, he became a truck driver and bought his first Kenworth, a used 1988 T600, in 1992. In 2003, he founded VPV Transport, named after his three daughters. Today, the company operates 110 Kenworth trucks from its headquarters in Kearny, New Jersey, specializing in drayage, port operations, and regional and over-the-road freight, including pharmaceuticals.

VPV Transport has grown from three trucks to 110 Kenworths, including T680 and T880 models.
“We started this company with just three trucks, and today we’re operating 110. That kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident. We’ve built VPV Transport by being a company our customers can rely on – doing what we say we’re going to do, every time. Running what we feel are the world’s best trucks has played a huge role in that success.”
