What Happened
Donkervoort's third-generation Bare Naked technology, previously a limited-edition model, is now a full factory option for all F22 customers. The option applies a clear or colored coat over the carbon-fiber bodywork, revealing the weave and saving 10 kg from the car's kerb weight.
10 kgkg
Bare Naked option slices 10 kg from the F22's weight; optional carbon-fiber rims remove another 10 kg.
“Besides being the most driver-focused supercar money can buy, with a unique extended-family ownership experience, Donkervoorts are also investments, and Bare Naked technology is proven to have an even stronger positive influence on values.”
Donkervoort has traditionally drawn demand from Benelux and Germany, but the first Bare Naked F22 is headed to the UAE, with orders also from Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Israel, Finland, and the United States. The F22's production run has been increased to 100 units, hand-built at Lelystad until mid-2025.
Why this matters
The option lets customers display the car's advanced carbon-fiber structure, a feature typically reserved for hypercars, and is expected to boost resale values, according to Donkervoort.
