Ducati Monster wins 2026 Red Dot Design Award

The new Ducati Monster has been honored with the Red Dot Design Award – Product Design 2026, one of the world's most prestigious international awards dedicated to product design. The announcement came from Borgo Panigale, Bologna, Italy, on August 6, 2026. Established in 1955, the Red Dot Award is presented each year by an independent jury of international experts, recognizing products for excellence in design, innovation, functionality, and aesthetics. The jury recognized the fifth generation of the model introduced in 1992, which reinterprets a Ducati icon through a contemporary design language while preserving its identity and distinctive character.

Since its debut in 1992, the Monster has redefined the concept of the sporty naked bike through the formula "everything you need, nothing more." Introduced in 2025, the new Monster is an entirely new project that combines lightness, technology, and a contemporary, instantly recognizable design language. It is more compact, essential, and sporty, recalling the elements that have defined its identity from the very beginning. It was precisely this stylistic evolution, faithful to its identity, that won over the Red Dot Design Award jury.

With the award presented to the Monster, Ducati continues its long tradition of success at the Red Dot Awards, adding to the many international design awards received by the Italian motorcycle manufacturer over the years.
