Jörg Menges to Lead Audi FAW NEV Company as New CEO

What Happened
Jörg Menges, currently Head of Product Engineering at AUDI AG, will take over as CEO of Audi FAW NEV Company Ltd. effective April 1, 2026. He brings over 31 years of international automotive experience, including a previous role as Plant Manager at FAW-Volkswagen in Changchun, China. He replaces Helmut Stettner, who successfully completed his five-year tenure.

Thanks to his previous role in China, he has a deep understanding of the market and is also well connected within the Group. He will lead the company into the next phase and consistently develop the production site as part of our electrification strategy for the Chinese market.”
Audi FAW NEV Company Ltd., Audi's first production site in China dedicated solely to electric models, is based in Changchun. It launched the Audi Q6L e-tron and Q6L Sportback e-tron in 2025, with the Audi A6L e-tron to follow soon.
