What Happened

Kia is showcasing the breadth of its growing electrified line-up at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, one of Europe's leading automotive exhibitions, led by the European premiere of the all-new Kia Seltos Hybrid. Alongside the Seltos Hybrid, Kia is showing the new K4 Hybrid in Europe for the first time, the complete five-model GT family including the recently launched EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT, and the PV5 Passenger and PV5 Cargo. Across more than 1,000 m², Kia's display brings together electrified models spanning SUVs, hybrids, high-performance EVs and PBVs. The Paris Motor Show runs from 12 to 18 October, with Kia located in Hall 6 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

The all-new Seltos Hybrid takes center stage in Paris as the second generation of Kia's globally successful Seltos. The model combines a bold and rugged design with advanced technologies, practical functionality and convenience, and sits in the highly competitive and fast-growing C-SUV segment, where it strengthens Kia's SUV line-up and supports the brand's transition towards electrified mobility in Europe. As Kia's second best-selling model globally, the Seltos underlines the brand's design leadership and its commitment to refined practicality, modern technology and advanced usability for customers seeking a versatile SUV with a strong road presence. The Seltos Hybrid is the first Kia model to feature an e-AWD system, enabling precise torque distribution, improved traction and enhanced stability, and it expands Kia's European hybrid offering alongside models including the Sportage, Niro and K4.

The 2026 Paris Motor Show marks the European motor show debut of the new Kia K4 Hybrid, ahead of the scheduled start of production on 15 October 2026. Available in Hatchback and Sportswagon body styles, the new variant combines the K4's bold design, spacious interior and advanced technology with a full hybrid powertrain, further broadening Kia's electrified offering in the European C-segment. Kia is also showing its complete fully electric GT family, led by the recently launched EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT. Those three newcomers join the EV6 GT and EV9 GT — Kia's first fully electric GT models, already established in European markets — in a five-model portfolio that brings Kia's distinctive approach to electric performance to a broader range of customers.

The introduction of the Seltos Hybrid comes as Kia continues to record strong momentum in the European passenger-car market. According to the latest ACEA registration data, Kia is Europe's fastest-growing top 10 passenger-car brand year to date, with registrations increasing 9.0% between January and August 2026 and market share reaching 4.1%. Hybrid vehicles are an important contributor to this momentum, led by the Sportage HEV, and the brand's hybrid portfolio will be further strengthened with the all-new Seltos HEV and K4 HEV. On the commercial side, Kia continues to expand its dedicated, all-electric Platform Beyond Vehicle line-up, building on the market introduction of the PV5 and the recent unveiling of the PV7 at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover. At the Paris show, the PV5 Cargo and 7-seat PV5 Passenger showcase the versatility of Kia's first dedicated PBV across professional and passenger applications, underlining its ambition to redefine the light commercial vehicle sector.
