What Happened
At the German Grand Prix in Talkessel, Teutschenthal, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing dominated with Lucas Coenen winning both motos (1-1) for his third overall victory of the 2026 MXGP season. Teammate Andrea Adamo secured second overall (7-3), marking his first MXGP podium after just six starts. In the MX2 class, Sacha Coenen finished second overall but took the championship lead with the red plate from Simon Laengenfelder.
“A good weekend. Two holeshots and led every lap. I managed to pull a gap and control it. On that type of track you can easily made a mistake so I had to stay calm…but it was tricky! I had some pressure…but I think I did a good job. Sacha also, and it’s a nice thing to have two red plates [in the family] but it’s a long season.”
