What Happened

BodyLink IV is the next-generation chassis-to-body electrical system from Mack Trucks, designed for the Granite model. It features extensive prewiring, flexible connections, programmable switches, and intuitive tools to improve quality, enable key safety features, speed installation, and reduce overall costs.

BodyLink IV is designed to make body installation simpler, safer and faster for body builders and fleet technicians. When our customers save time, they save money, so knowing this we engineered this enhanced system.
Tim Wrinkle, Mack vice president of vocational and medium-duty products

The system’s expanded capabilities allow precise configuration for most vocational applications. Dedicated power and signal connectors minimize wiring complexity and maximize installation quality.

BodyLink IV offers more flexibility and deeper control. Technicians can quickly check and customize settings, set up custom safety parameters and create templates that keep every truck in a fleet consistent. It’s easy to use and built to keep trucks reliably working.
Alex Lee, Mack senior product manager for vocational and medium duty

Why this matters

The system reduces wiring complexity and allows technicians to customize settings, helping body builders save time and money while improving safety for vocational trucks.
