What Happened
MAN Truck & Bus has equipped a Lion's City 12 E electric bus with an Automated Driving System from ADASTEC, integrating five LiDAR sensors, six radars, eight cameras, and GNSS. Current testing on MAN's grounds focuses on maneuvers like approaching bus stops. In autumn 2026, Munich's MVG will start a pilot with a closed user group, with a safety driver onboard.
