MAN Truck & Bus has opened a new sales office for trucks and buses in Querétaro, Mexico, underscoring the strategic importance of Mexico as a growth market. The office will house a local team led by Pedro Teixeira as MAN Brand Manager, focusing on customer support and service standardization in the transport and logistics sector.
“We are strengthening our presence in the market and look forward to advancing mobility in Mexico with innovative vehicles and well-thought-out solutions.”
In the truck segment, MAN is capitalizing on the growing demand for cab-over trucks, which offer advanced technology and better maneuverability compared to conventional hooded trucks. Its flagship TGX model, designed for long-haul logistics up to 40 tons, features efficient engines from 440 to 640 PS meeting Euro 6 standards, along with driver assistance systems like adaptive cruise control and emergency braking.
For buses, MAN focuses on chassis sales, partnering with bodybuilders Irizar and Marcopolo to complete vehicles on its Lion's Chassis CO (RR2 and RR4). At the Expo Foro Movilidad 2026 in Mexico City, MAN showcased two such buses, highlighting their efficiency and safety. Additionally, since April 2025, MAN Financial Services has offered financing, leasing, and insurance solutions in Mexico.
