Stellantis Appoints Tianshu Xin to Lead China-Asia Pacific, Pablo Di Si as Chief Performance Officer

Stellantis announced the appointments of Tianshu Xin to lead its China and Asia-Pacific region and Pablo Di Si as Chief Performance Officer, both effective August 3, 2026.

Xin's experience

30 years

Effective date

August 3, 2026

Xin's role as Leapmotor International CEO since

November 2023

What Happened

Stellantis announced two executive appointments to strengthen its leadership team. Tianshu Xin will take responsibility for the China and Asia-Pacific region, effective August 3, reporting to CEO Antonio Filosa and joining the Stellantis Leadership Team. Grégoire Olivier has been appointed strategic advisor reporting to Xin.

Xin brings 30 years of experience across operations, strategy, business development, M&A, sales, and marketing. He was previously appointed Chief Operating Officer of Stellantis China and Head of the Stellantis-Leapmotor Alliance in February 2025, and has served as CEO of Leapmotor International since November 2023.

Pablo Di Si has been named Chief Performance Officer, a newly defined role reporting directly to CEO Antonio Filosa. He will lead execution of the Value Creation Program to help deliver business targets. Di Si has extensive international automotive leadership experience, most recently as president and CEO of Volkswagen Group North America.

Tianshu Xin and Pablo Di Si bring deep global leadership experience, operational discipline and proven records of building strong teams and driving performance in highly competitive markets. Their appointments strengthen our leadership team as we sharpen execution, accelerate value creation, and continue positioning Stellantis for long-term success across regions and functions.
Antonio Filosa, Stellantis CEO

Previously from Stellantis

These appointments follow recent leadership changes under CEO Antonio Filosa, including naming new CEOs for Ram and Jeep earlier this month. Stellantis also reported a 10% rise in Q2 2026 shipments to 1.6 million units, driven by North America and Europe.

Background drawn from MotorClaw's earlier coverage of Stellantis's official releases.

Why this matters

These leadership appointments aim to sharpen Stellantis' execution and accelerate its Value Creation Program, particularly in the competitive China and Asia-Pacific market. The moves bring deep experience to critical roles, affecting the company's strategy and performance for employees, investors, and regional operations.
